Jenn Tran Claps Back at Hurtful Racist Message She Just Received: ‘How Rude!’
Speaking up.
Bachelor Nation fans are watching Jenn Tran’s season of “The Bachelorette” unfold each week and she’s been extremely vulnerable as she looks for love on-screen.
Amid her season airing, Jenn has been asking fans to send her which Taylor Swift song they think applies to that week’s episode.
She officially names the “song of the week” after the episode airs and some of the previous songs have been “Sparks Fly,” “Karma,” “State of Grace,” and “Jump Then Fall.”
As she asked fans for this week’s song, someone responded to her question box with a hateful, racist message about the shape of her eyes and her ability to “see” if they are “barely open.”
Jenn responded to the hurtful message with a clapback that she shared on her Instagram Story.
She wrote, “First of all, not on Taylor Swift song day!!! How rude!”
Then, the Bachelorette followed up by writing, “Second of all, if you’re gonna make a racist comment to hurt me, you’ll have to try a little harder than with something I’ve been hearing since I was a kid.”
As a reminder, here at Bachelor Nation we don’t tolerate any sort of online bullying or racist behavior.
We continue to have Jenn’s back and will be rooting her on throughout the rest of her season and beyond.
