Jade Roper Tolbert Reveals Why Her Family Moved and How Kansas City Is Harder on Her Medical Condition

Bachelor Nation fan-favorite couple Jade Roper Tolbert and Tanner Tolbert first fell in love and got engaged on the beach during Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since then, they’ve gotten married and welcomed three children together: Emerson, Brooks, and Reed.
The Tolberts have been living in Orange County, California, as they’ve expanded their family, but are now ready for a new chapter.
The couple took to Instagram last month to reveal that they’d be moving back to Kansas City.
Now, Jade took to her Instagram Stories to share why they made the move and more.
She said, “Tanner grew up in Kansas City and we lived there together for three years before living in California for the past six years. He always wanted to raise his family where he grew up and it’s closer to my family, so it felt like the right time to move back now that Emmy will be starting first grade.”
Jade got vulnerable, sharing, “Ideally for me, a few more years in California would have been nice since I have Raynaud’s, but we have a lot to look forward to being back in KC!”
In case you aren’t aware, Raynaud’s syndrome is a medical condition that causes decreased blood flow to the fingers.
It worsens in cold weather conditions, which is why Jade shared that California is easier on her condition than the Midwest.
She shared a photo of what happens to her hand when her Raynaud’s is flaring and answered a fan who asked what her plans are to look after the condition in the winter.
Jade said, “We brought our infrared sauna with us which I plan to use three to four times a week, which is supposed to help with blood circulation. But mostly just planning to bundle up and use the warming gloves and socks I bought last year when we went to a Chiefs game in the winter.”
Jade followed up, saying she’s open to any other recommendations people have if they also have Raynaud’s.
