Spilling the tea…

As Bachelor Nation fans know, Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti Haibon first met on Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2015.

The two got engaged on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and tied the knot in August 2019.

Since then, they’ve welcomed son Dawson into their lives, and their second son Hayden earlier this year.

Now, Ashley has taken to Instagram to recall the first time she visited Jared in Rhode Island and the less-than-ideal trip it turned into. 

Alongside a series of photos from that trip, in addition to more recent photos with their two boys, Ashley wrote, “Nine years ago this weekend, Jared and I made out for the first time since our first round in Paradise. He invited me to go to a club appearance thing in Boston. Everything fell into place and it was all so flirty.”

She continued and shared how what started off as a sweet time together quickly turned sour. 

“I was so proud that I played this cool girl, slow game over six months and wooed him,” Ashley said, “but that was short lived as the next morning I threw up in his car on the ride back to Rhode Island. I think the Backstreet Boys were playing as [I] barfed into my hands in front of him. All is well as nine years later to the week, we’re with our two kids at a Hallmark town-esque Christmas tree lighting.”

Ashley then explained how Jared used to go to the tree lighting by himself, which is why it was extra special to go together as a family.

She shared, “To make things more movie-like, Jared once came to this annual lighting alone as a single man in the Christmas spirit because he apparently was aspiring to be Jude Law.”

Talk about a full-circle moment! 

Jared commented on the post, writing, “The term ‘bottle service’ is very different for us these days.”

And fans also commented on Ashley’s post, sharing how much they loved the story with things like, “Your story gives me hope! I love how this all turned out for you guys ❤️,” and “Love the romance and the reality aspect of your relationship. When Harry Met Sally all the way. Or you guys should just make a movie of your life.”

Fellow Bachelor Nation star Olivia Caridi also added, “Meant to be ❤️”
