Greg Grippo Reveals If He’s Spoken to Katie Thurston and Admits He ‘Could’ve Done Better in Past Relationships’

Getting candid.
Bachelor Nation fans met Greg Grippo on Season 17 of “The Bachelorette,” where he famously broke up with Katie Thurston after a series of devastating conversations.
Since then, Greg has been sharing his life on social media with Bachelor Nation fans and hanging out with many of the men from Season 17.
He recently went on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast and opened up about how he’s changed when it comes to relationships and whether he’s spoken with Katie Thurston.
When answering if he’s spoken to the former Bachelorette, Greg reflected on how things ended between the two of them and revealed they did speak after “Men Tell All.”

“It was a tough situation. I mean, I threw a hissy fit, but it was also a gut feeling that I had. Something about it just really didn’t feel right to me,” he said.
“And I remember being in the airport like… ‘Did I really just mess this up?’ I was trying to be like, ‘Hey, could you guys contact me if anything? I would love to be able to speak with her,’ and I just didn’t hear back… We hashed it out over a DM I wanna say, like, a month after [‘Men Tell All’], and we squashed it.”
Greg was then asked about his previous relationship with Victoria Fuller and why they decided to break up.
He said, “It just didn’t work out between us and it was a mutual decision. She’s great, but at the end of the day it just didn’t work out and we had to go our separate ways. There were discussions about [marriage] for sure. I mean especially at this day and age, I wanna date with intention and that relationship we really tried. We really gave it our best shot.”

He then reflected on how he’s changed since that relationship and what he’s looking for moving forward.
“I think that I could’ve done better in past relationships, but today I do believe that I’m a different version of myself and would be a good boyfriend,” he admitted. “I’ve just been taking it slow in my life. I don’t want to lead anyone on at this point. I feel like I’ve done a lot of self-reflecting this past year and my big thing is that I really wanna build a friendship with someone prior to going into that relationship and taking things slow with them just, like, for longevity-wise.”
We always love hearing from Greg and appreciate his openness. We can’t wait to see how his journey unfolds!
