Olivia Caridi Reveals Thoughtful Gift from a Recent Date: ‘If He Wanted to, He Would’

Bachelor Nation fans got to know Olivia Caridi as she looked for love on Season 20 of “The Bachelor.”
Since her time on the show, Olivia has been living in New York City and keeping fans updated with her life on social media.
The Bachelor Nation alum recently shared that she went through egg freezing and had an egg-retrieval surgery to take the pressure out of dating.
And now, Olivia has shared online that she received a very thoughtful gift from a recent date to celebrate her retrieval surgery.
In a new video, she said, “I just got a really good lesson ladies in ‘if he wanted to, he would.’ And I wanted to share it with you. A guy I went out with on a first date last week, who I’ve known for longer through pickleball, he had mentioned that a care package was coming my way because of my egg freezing. This just shows that there are men that will listen and show you that they like you.”
Olivia then goes on to unbox the sweet care package and show the items her date gave her.
She started by saying, “Champagne. I have been saying on our first date how excited I am to just open a bottle of bubbly after my retrieval. Second thing, which really shows he was listening. I had been telling him how I’m going to a Broadway show this weekend with my best girlfriend and how our ‘fun hack’ is that, to avoid spending $70 on [a tiny amount of] wine or whatever, that we will do little Fireball nips on our walk to Times Square. So he got me and her Fireball nips.”
Olivia shared the overall lesson she learned from this experience and the takeaway she got from the gift.
“It’s not mental gymnastics, it does not have to be,” she said. “And there are men that will show you, just genuinely, that they are good. If he wants you, he will make it known.”
Olivia wrote over the video, “If he wanted to, he would” and captioned the post, “Hope this is a good reminder for my lovely girls out there who deserve the best!”
