Rachel Recchia Opens Up About Body Changes in Vulnerable Post: ‘I Was Really Struggling’

Bachelor Nation fans have gotten to know and love Rachel Recchia on “The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette,” and “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, Rachel has been keeping fans updated with her life on social media.
This week, she took to her Instagram Stories for a Q&A about all things life, health, and “Bachelor in Paradise.”
The first question Rachel answered was about her recent body changes.
The former Bachelorette wrote, “I want to address this because the comments I’ve received are a reminder of how little we often know about what someone is really going through. Everyone has seen a very small part of my life through a lens. I am constantly compared to a version of myself from a short time when, truthfully, I was really struggling.”
Rachel went on, saying, “Toward the end of last year, I also faced health issues that impacted my body in ways I couldn’t control. Today, I’m in a healthier place both physically and emotionally. This is the last time I’ll speak on it, love you all.”

During her Q&A, she also shared her thoughts on Season 10 of “BIP” and discussed her bestie Jill Chin deciding to leave the show.
Rachel wrote, “I watched from my parents’ house last night, and we were all heartbrokennnn for Jill. I’m so proud of her for putting herself back out there again, especially in a season as tough as this one. I think the Goldens bring something special, but having them there definitely shifts attention away from the younger cast.”
Rachel went on, saying, “I honestly can’t believe we’ve already lost Susie, Justin, and Jill in just a few episodes. I was so excited to see them back on my screen!!!”
She added that she’s excited to keep watching Kat’s love story unfold. We agree, and we can’t wait to hear more of Rachel’s thoughts as the season continues.
