Genevieve Parisi Shares a New Update on Her Dating Life: ‘I Don’t Like People Often’

Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Genevieve Parisi on Season 26 of “The Bachelor” and Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, she has been keeping fans updated with her life online, including her dating and love life.
Earlier this year, Genevieve teased a new romance while sharing about a date she had.
And now, the Bachelor Nation star has taken to social media to share a new update about her dating life.
In a video online, Genevieve spilled, “I have a dating life update. Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve updated you guys on anything. Remember the gym crush I had that I made a few videos about? Yeah, I dated him for a few months.”
She went on, saying, “I will say, I haven’t actually liked someone in a really long time. So it was nice to kind of be reminded that I can have actual feelings. I don’t like people often, so when I like someone, I really like them. And then unfortunately I let things go that I should not let go.”
Genevieve revealed she is no longer dating him and detailed some of the issues she faced while in the relationship.
“One of the biggest issues was that he didn’t like that I was on a reality TV [dating] show,” she said. “It was constantly brought up and I don’t deserve to be judged or belittled based on something I did three years ago. And if my family and my friends aren’t judging me for it, you shouldn’t be either. And this was something that was brought up on our first date. He knew about it, and I wasn’t trying to hide it. So if it’s that big of a deal to you, you should’ve just left me alone.”
Genevieve goes on to reveal other issues, such as him making her feel insecure about her age, consistently arriving late for dates, getting upset she had birthday drinks with friends, and not holding the door for her.
Genevieve ends the video by saying, “I also want to say I know I’m not perfect and I never claim to be… There’s a lot more I could say, but I’m running out of time. Now I’m back to square one. Thanks for listening if you listened. Yes, I’m 30, yes, I am single, but I will continue to not settle for less than I deserve.”
