Taylor Frankie Paul Opens Up About the Therapies Helping Her Through Mental Health Struggles
Getting candid.
After 21 seasons, "The Bachelorette" is taking a bold new turn with a familiar face from the reality TV world.
Taylor Frankie Paul, star of "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" and viral TikTok sensation, is the next Bachelorette and she’s ready to hand out roses in hopes of finding her happily ever after.
While her season doesn’t premiere until next month, Taylor has been sharing glimpses of her life on social media with fans ahead of the big day.
This week, she posted an honest video opening up about her mental health.
In the clip, Taylor says, “Hearing someone say ‘I’m struggling with my mental health’ and I just listen as if I don’t know ball. Trust me, I know ball. However, if I’ve learned anything, it’s that more often than not, people just want to be heard. It’s also important to validate yourself in whatever you may be feeling, or it just gets louder.”
She continued, “Forever grateful for the knowledge and tools I was taught by these amazing people, even if I don’t always utilize them. Please note: I don’t do all of this on a regular basis. I’ve trialed and learned. I do what I can, when I can.”
Taylor also shared the types of therapy and mental health tools that have helped her, including clips of herself engaging in each practice.
She revealed she has tried equine therapy, Safe and Sound Protocol, art therapy, movement, massage therapy, trauma yoga, prayer, sound baths, psych education, grounding techniques, red light therapy, books, and podcasts.
All of these have supported her during moments of distress. Fans and fellow Bachelor Nation stars flooded the comments of her post with love and appreciation for her vulnerability.
We love seeing Taylor be so open about her mental health, her honesty can help others going through similar struggles.
