Wells Adams Shares Unfiltered Opinion About Colton Underwood on ‘The Traitors’ — Listen Here!
Getting candid.
Bachelor Nation fans know Wells Adams from his time on Season 12 of “The Bachelorette” and as our beloved bartender on “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Wells also participated on Season 3 of the hit TV show “The Traitors” and has been watching each week as Season 4 unfolds.
Former Bachelor Colton Underwood was one of the competitors on this season but was sent home after causing some buzz in the castle and starting drama with fellow contestant Lisa Rinna.
Now, Wells is on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to share his unfiltered thoughts on Colton and his performance on “The Traitors.”
The beloved bartender reflected on Colton’s actions in the castle and didn’t hold back as he touched on the drama on and off the show.
He said, “Colton, it’s not going great, I don’t think. I think that’s a fair way of putting it. I’ve heard rumors of what happened at the reunion and… [Lisa Rinna’s] going in on him [online]. And yeah, listen, my thought is this with Colton. So he kind of left the public eye, he did like one dating show with Kaitlyn [Bristowe], but I don’t know if anyone really watched that. So I don’t know; to me, he kind of left the public, right?”
Wells continued, “But he did have this turmoil with the girl he left the show with and it got really messy, and I think if he wants to be in the public eye, he’s gonna have to go through this. Like, he has to answer for some of these things. He has to atone for a lot of this stuff. And I think that I’m sure for him right now, walking through this is very, very difficult. But I think looking back, he’ll probably think it was a blessing because it allows him to finally kind of wash himself clean of all that stuff that happened in the past.”
Wells also compared the current season to his, and expressed how he doesn’t think Colton’s had a “redemptive arc.”
“It’s funny, though, because ‘Traitors’ for me, I always thought it was a place where ‘villains’ go to be discovered as not that bad. Case in point, on my season, [Tom] Sandoval was there. Like, maybe the most hated person in the world and I think he walked out of there… he walked out of that looking so much better,” he said.
“He had more of a redemptive arc, which is kind of what I thought would happen with Colton, but it swung the other way, so I don’t know. I’m interested to see how this reunion goes.”
