Ali Fedotowsky Manno Opens Up About New Medical Diagnosis: ‘Finally Officially Diagnosed’
Getting candid.
Bachelor Nation fans first got to know Ali Fedotowsky Manno on Season 14 of “The Bachelor,” and again when she returned to our screens as the leading lady on Season 6 of “The Bachelorette.”
Since her time on the shows, Ali married her husband Kevin Manno in 2017 and welcomed their two kids, Molly and Riley.
She’s continued to keep fans updated on her life online and recently relocated her family to San Diego.
This week, the Bachelor Nation star took to her Instagram Story to open up about some health issues she’s been dealing with.
Ali shared, “You know you’re getting old when people ask your plans for the week and you start listing off doctor’s appointments. I have a hearing test today and the ENT tomorrow.”
She continued, “Hoping to finally get officially diagnosed with this Eustachian tube dysfunction. But they always make you do a hearing test before you go to the ENT, so that's what I'm doing today and tomorrow.”
The former Bachelorette then shared photos from her hearing test and revealed her results.
She wrote, “Just got out of my hearing test. Just like last time I had one of these done, my hearing is really good, and the audiologist basically told me that she’s pretty certain I have Eustachian tube dysfunction.”
Ali added, “But I’ll meet with the ENT tomorrow to discuss possible next steps. A few of you have messaged me and told me that getting tubes put in is super easy and changed your life, so I’m hopeful it will be that way for me too. Funny thing is, and this happens every time I go to the doctor, the issue isn’t nearly as bad today as it normally is.”
She later posted from the ENT’s office, where she also asked about balloon dilation before considering tubes.
Ali shared, “The past two ENTs I went to just told me to keep up with the Flonase, but I’ve been doing that for 3.5 years and it isn’t working.”
She explained at the end of her Stories that she is “really hoping to get some answers” on what will help.
We’re sending Ali love and hoping she gets the answers she needs to start feeling and hearing better!
