Hunter Montgomery Marks 19 Years of Sobriety with Wife Daniella: ‘She Knows Me Too Well’
A milestone worth celebrating.
Bachelor Nation fans first met Hunter Montgomery on Season 17 of "The Bachelorette," and he has continued to share his journey with followers on social media.
While Hunter often posts about his Bachelor Nation friends, his wife, and his dogs, he’s also candid about more vulnerable topics, including his sobriety.
He first opened up about his sobriety during his time on the show, and now he’s sharing that he reached a major milestone.
This week, Hunter took to Instagram to share his 19 years sobriety chip and wrote, “19 years today. Crazy. Grateful.”
And his wife Daniella shared a photo of Hunter blowing out 19 candles and wrote, “19 boxes of cookies for my (sober) cookie monster.”
Hunter reshared the story saying, “She knows me too well.”
This isn’t the first time Hunter has spoken out about his sobriety.
When he reached 15 years sober, he took to Instagram and wrote, “Last week, I celebrated a milestone in my recovery that I will never forget - 15 years sober. Throughout this journey, I have met and grown to love so many people, from so many different walks of life. The past few years haven’t been comfortable, or easy, but the experiences they have brought me cannot be replaced.”
The Bachelor Nation star continued on saying, “A special thank you to my friends and family, both old and new, for supporting me before, during, and after I made the decision to fight the disease of addiction. This particular celebration was one I will never forget.”
We are so glad to see Hunter continuing on his journey and we know him sharing will help others going through something similar.
