Tayshia Adams Reacts to Viral ‘Bachelorette’ Moments: ‘I Was Pissed’
Looking back.
Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Tayshia Adams as she searched for love on Season 16 of “The Bachelorette.”
Since then, she’s been keeping fans updated with her life online and is currently one of the main judges on the new design competition show, “Bachelor Mansion Takeover” on HGTV.
Tayshia has previously reflected on her time as the Bachelorette, and recently reacted to one of her viral moments while interviewing with the outlet “Betches.” In a video posted on YouTube, Tayshia put her pop culture brain to the test to see how familiar she was with online trends and videos when one of her “Bachelorette” toasts popped up.
In the clip, Tayshia is telling her group of men, “I’m sure you can tell that I’m not happy. It’s been brought to my attention that my integrity is being questioned.”
The Bachelor Nation star then realized it was her in the clip and said, “Is that me?! Oh, my God! What else did I say? I don’t know, but I was pissed, I think.
Laughing and in shock, Tayshia continued to watch herself as the Bachelorette and repeated, “Oh, my God.”
She was then asked if anything has pissed her off recently, to which she replied, “Well, there’s a lot that’s pissing me off these days, but we’ll keep it offline.”
Tayshia also shared what she thinks is the most misunderstood part about being the Bachelorette and why.
“Oh, wow, there’s a whole lot! Falling in love with multiple people,” she said, “I think it’s hard for people to understand that. But I think when you’re in this experience, you get to know people on such an intimate level. Especially because there are no distractions, you just have really serious conversations very quickly. And you’re also in a really vulnerable state that, I think, you see people a little deeper sometimes than you normally would if you were just dating for a couple of months and, I don’t know, you’re on multiple dates and you’re getting to know somebody slowly. So, I think that’s hard for people to kind of understand.”
Expanding on questions people have asked, Tayshia expressed, “Like, ‘How are you falling in love with two guys?’ Or like, ‘Did you really love them?’ Yeah, it’s not a joke. It’s also really hard to fall in love, get engaged, and then have the person’s family watch it back. Because you’re also kissing all these other guys and dating all these other guys and falling for other people and they’re like, ‘Well do you really love our son?’ Or, ‘Do you really love our daughter?’”
We always love hearing from Tayshia and appreciate her honesty. It’s fun to look back on her time as the Bachelorette!
