Sarah Herron Gets Candid About ‘Feeling Inadequate’ on Social Media — More Here
Opening up.
Bachelor Nation first met Sarah Herron on Season 17 of “The Bachelor,” and she returned to our screens for Seasons 1 and 3 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since then, Sarah found love off-screen with husband Dylan Brown and the two welcomed twin girls Evy and Coco last year.
Sarah loves to keep followers updated with her life online and will often open up about vulnerable topics.
This week, the Bachelor Nation star shared a new post about “feeling inadequate” on social media and got candid saying, “I am not interesting. At least, that’s how Instagram makes me feel.”
Sarah continued, sharing more about herself and why she feels like she’s no longer interesting online.
She wrote, “Since the dawn of Instagram, people have been feeling inadequate when they open this app. Yet, here. we. are. I don’t think we have to try to solve it, but just be [aware] of it. Whether you’re new to my page, or are one of the OGs, I’m grateful we can find interest in the mundane together. 🫶🏻 thank you for coming along!”
Sarah went on, “I’m a 39 year old mom of IVF twins and for the last 2 years I have been pouring all of my energy into raising them. It’s been the greatest joy of my life. I’m also trying to navigate doing all of this with a disability, which I rarely talk about. But look, all of that leaves little time for content creation these days. So what you get when you come to my page, are in-the-moment snippets from my everyday life. Which I think are pretty amazing!! But the algorithm makes me think I’m not doing enough.”
The Bachelor Nation star then posted a photo of herself as a little girl and stated, “But you’re telling me we’re going to let this little girl believe she isn’t enough? Wrong.”
She ended her post with, “So if you periodically enjoy seeing a 39-year-old mom’s non expert POV on reality TV, raising toddlers, adventure and motherhood, then you’ve found the right corner on the internet.”
Followers filled the comments with their gratitude for Sarah’s post and vulnerability, sharing how they’ve been struggling with a similar issue.
We always love hearing from Sarah and appreciate her honesty. Her sharing her story is helping so many others going through similar struggles.
