Ashley Iaconetti Reflects on How ‘Bachelor’ Journey Led Her to ‘Real Housewives’
Then and now.
As Bachelor Nation fans know, Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti Haibon first met on Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2015.
The two later got engaged on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and tied the knot in August 2019. Since then, they’ve welcomed son Dawson in 2022 and their second son, Hayden, in 2024.
Last year, Bachelor Nation fans speculated that Ashley might be a future Real Housewife of Rhode Island after footage of her being filmed by a crew leaked online. And a few months ago, Ashley officially confirmed that she will be part of the show’s cast.
Now, the Bachelor Nation star is looking back on her “Bachelor” journey and reflecting on how it led her to become a Real Housewife.
In a new post online, Ashley posted a mirror selfie she took of herself from 12 years ago and revealed it was one of the photos she submitted when applying for the show.
She wrote, “12 years ago today (on April Fool’s Day) I got a call from ‘The Bachelor’s’ casting producers for the first time. I had sent in an audition tape nine months earlier. This was one of the photos I sent them.”
Ashley then shared a photo from her wedding day with Jared, followed by a selfie of them holding Dawson and Hayden.
She said, “Through that journey I met my husband! Then we had the best boys!”
Ashley posted one final photo of her “Real Housewives of Rhode Island” cast members and expressed, “Now the girl who went on ‘The Bachelor’ to become a wife is a Real Housewife.”
Further reflecting in her caption, she wrote, “On April 1, 2014, I entered the world of reality TV. The sequel begins April 2, 2026. Yes, I’m nervous. The drama will drama, but I hope our family life it’s a solid reflection of reality. I’m excited to hear all your thoughts (if you choose to watch RHORI) this week.”
