Tenley Molzahn Gets Emotional About ‘Quiet Grief’ About Knowing She’s Done Having Kids
Opening up.
Bachelor Nation fans first met Tenley Molzahn Leopold on Season 14 of “The Bachelor.” She later returned for Season 1 of “Bachelor Pad” and Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Tenley ultimately found love off-screen, meeting her now-husband Taylor Leopold in 2016. The couple married in 2018 and went on to welcome their first daughter, Rell Jaymes Leopold, in 2020, followed by their second daughter, Banks Alaia Leopold, in May 2024.
Tenley often shares glimpses of her life online, and this week she took to Instagram to open up about what it really feels like to be done having children.
Alongside sweet photos with her daughters, Tenley shared that while she knows this decision is right for her family, it is also “the hardest one.”
In her caption, the Bachelor Nation star got honest about why this season has been so emotional.
Tenley wrote, “It feels strange to say this out loud, but I think we’re done having babies. And somehow, it feels both really right… and really hard at the same time. I know our family is complete, and I also feel this quiet grief, knowing we’re in the last of the firsts. The last newborn snuggles, the last time carrying a baby, the last of that season that changed me forever. It was such a gift to carry my girls, to grow them, to meet them, to be their mom.”
She continued, “It feels like our baby days are quickly moving behind us. It was such a sweet season of life. But what has me excited is that we know what our family looks like now! This is us. Time to start dreaming up big trips & new adventures as our girls keep growing! I also love knowing I get to pour into these two girls every day! It’s the right decision, but still somehow the hardest one too.”
Tenley added that if others are feeling similarly, they are “not alone,” and encouraged people to share their own experiences.
Her comment section quickly filled with love from fans and fellow Bachelor Nation stars who have navigated the same emotions.
Sending Tenley so much love as she shares such a relatable and emotional season of life and helps so many others feel seen along the way.
