As Bachelor Nation fans know, the most recent season of “The Bachelorette” is currently on pause.

While viewers wait to see what happens next, the men from Season 22 have been appearing on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to exclusively discuss how they’re feeling and share more of their stories.

Recently, Brandon from “Bachelorette” made the news as he posted a video for Jessi Draper from “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” stating that his “friend” is interested in her now that she’s single. 

The post quickly went viral on social media, sparking curiosity among followers wondering what’s going on. 

Now, Brandon has joined the podcast to discuss more about that post and revealed that his “friend” and Jessi have been texting. 

While talking about why he posted the video, he expressed, “My friend thinks she’s a good-looking woman. She’s a beautiful woman and newly single, so all I can say to that, I think it’s been confirmed by my friend, is that they’ve been texting the last couple days. We’ll see what happens with that. I don’t know.”

Brandon continued, teasing that his “friend” has been telling him she’s a surprisingly good communicator. 

“She’s a good texter from what I hear,” he stated. “Yeah, no, she’s fun. Yeah, she surprised my friend. She’s good at conversations, so we’ll see.”

Co-host Rachel Recchia then inquired what qualities Brandon’s friend may be looking for in a partner, and he shared that he hopes to find someone mature, nurturing, and a go-getter. He also said that he likes someone with blonde, brunette, or red hair. 

Rachel teased that Jessi does hair professionally and feels like she could pull off any hair color. She also asked if Jessi’s gone blonde before, to which Brandon replied, “You know, I’ll have to ask my friend. I don’t know.” 

Rachel directed him to report straight back to her on the podcast once he finds out. And Brandon chimed back in, “Okay. Salt Lake’s not too far from South Dakota, just saying… She’s gonna block my number after this.”
