Jess Girod & Mercedes Northup Reveal Their ‘Icks for Each Other’ — They Don’t Hold Back!

Bachelor Nation got to know both Jess Girod and Mercedes Northup on Season 27 of “The Bachelor” and Season 9 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since their time on the shows, the two have remained close friends and will often hang out with one another.
Both Jess and Mercedes love to keep followers updated with their lives online, and last week, they took to social media to share each of their “icks.”
In a video posted on TikTok, the two are seen hanging out and they revealed, “Our icks for each other.”
They both took turns sharing a list of traits or actions the other person does that grosses them out.
Mercedes started off by telling Jess, “An ick of mine is when we’re on a walk and you go, ‘Oh my gosh, look at that baby!’ and it’s like a legit baby and a dog. And I look at the baby and you look at the dog.”
The two started laughing and then Jess revealed the ick she gets from Mercedes.
She said, “My ick for you is that it can be 100 degrees outside and we get in the car and you’re still blasting the heat. And you have the heat seater on, and you won’t let me turn the air down.”
The two continue going back and forth, not holding back, and snapping their fingers after each “ick” so they don’t argue. Mercedes added that she doesn’t like when she rage-baits Jess and she takes it too seriously. Jess then chimed in that she doesn’t like when Mercedes fake giggles.
The two Bachelor Nation stars also shared cute icks for each other and made sure to compliment each other throughout the video.
Fans filled the comments with their love for the two besties and wrote things such as, “Healthy friendship goals," and “I actually love this HAHA.”
