Madison Marilla from ‘Love on the Spectrum’ Shares What Bachelor Nation Gets Right & Wrong About Love
TV crossover!
Bachelor Nation superfan and star from the TV show “Love on the Spectrum” Madison Marilla recently joined the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to chat with Rachel Recchia and Charity Lawson about all things Bachelor Nation.
Fans of “Love on the Spectrum” recently watched Madison fall in love and get engaged to her “cowboy sweetheart” Tyler White.
While on the show, she shared her love for the Bachelor Nation franchise, even referring to some of her dates with Tyler as feeling like she was on “The Bachelor.”
Now, the two shows have collided and Madison is sharing her incredible expertise knowledge on the podcast while revealing some of her favorite moments.
The newly engaged Netflix star started off by sharing what originally drew her to the franchise, including when she first started watching “The Bachelor.”
She revealed that in seventh grade, her friends began watching the show and she joined, remembering that Brad Womack was the Bachelor at the time.
“That was 2010/2011. And then I got into a season and Emily Maynard won that season,” Madison reflected. “Ashley [Herbert] became Bachelorette, and then Ashley found love with JP that summer when I first moved to Massachusetts. And then the following year, I remember watching Ben’s season and he’s from where I grew up in California. And I remember watching his season and then I just became hooked ever since then.”
Madison also shared that she loved watching Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici get married because she had “a feeling” it would work out.
“One of the best moments was seeing Sean and Catherine get married. Because I kind of knew when Sean chose Catherine at the end of his season that they would get married. Yeah I kind of have a feeling,” she said.
Madison then revealed what she feels Bachelor Nation gets wrong or right about love compared to her experience on “Love on the Spectrum.”
She said, “I enjoy the drama on ‘The Bachelor.’ It’s very entertaining. But love on ‘Love on the Spectrum’ is very sweet.”
Madison then added, “Charity, like, with your season there was drama with Brayden [Bowers]. I met Brayden in Nashville last summer at CMA fest and he was so nice! He was the opposite of how he was portrayed on TV. I told Brayden I’d mail him some earrings.”
