Kelsey Anderson Gets Candid About Why She Doesn’t Feel Like She’s in Her ‘Bridal Era’
Bride-to-be.
Bachelor Nation fans watched Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei fall in love and get engaged on Season 28 of “The Bachelor.”
Since then, they’ve been enjoying life together and keeping followers updated with their wedding plans online. Recently, Kelsey revealed that she and Joey have officially set a date and are going to tie the knot in 2027.
The Bachelor Nation star loves to stay honest with her followers and posted a video last week where she got candid about not feeling like she’s in her “bridal era” despite being engaged.
Kelsey opened up about getting engaged to Joey in two months on “The Bachelor” and expressed that she feels like she “didn’t get the engagement that most people do.”
She stated her disappointment over not having an engagement party or being able to tell most of her friends and family due to being in “hiding” after the proposal. Kelsey also revealed the reason she and Joey decided to date for a while afterward was so they could get to know each other better.
“Now that we’re wedding planning, I feel like, I don’t know, I’m kind of missing out on some things,” she admitted. “So, I’m trying to get more into this bridal era feeling. I am so excited to get married to Joey and I’m so happy that we met, like, we would’ve never met without ‘The Bachelor.’ But I want to feel like I’m in my bridal era, so I’m gonna start talking about it online.”
Kelsey revealed she’s been nervous to talk about their wedding on social media because she wants to keep certain things private between her and Joey. However, she’s confident she can do that while still embracing this bride-to-be chapter.
“If I’m being honest, I don’t know if I would’ve ever had this feeling of like, ‘Oh, my gosh I’m a bride!’ that overcame me,” Kelsey confessed while reflecting more on her feelings. “That’s just never who I was growing up even. I never really had this dream wedding or anything. I was just like, I want a big party, I want my friends there, I wanna have fun. That’s all I want.”
We’re so glad Kelsey is embracing her bridal era and we can’t wait to see all the wedding content. We know her and Joey’s big day is going to be so beautiful!
