Ali Fedotowsky Manno Reveals Why She Decided to ‘Sleep Divorce’ Her Husband
Getting candid.
Bachelor Nation fans got to know Ali Fedotowsky-Manno on Season 14 of “The Bachelor” and again on Season 6 of “The Bachelorette” as our leading lady.
Since her time on the shows, Ali married her husband Kevin Manno in 2017 and gave birth to their two kids, Molly and Riley.
The couple recently celebrated their nine-year wedding anniversary, and this week, Ali revealed a new fact about their marriage.
In a video posted on Instagram, Ali confessed that she and Kevin no longer sleep in the same bed together.
She said, “I don’t know, I feel like people are gonna think this is controversial.” And titled the video, “Controversial? Maybe. But it works for us!”
Kevin chimed in, expressing, “I don’t know. Sleep divorce, it’s not uncommon these days.”
The former Bachelorette explained the reasons why she doesn’t sleep in the same bed as her husband anymore, and she really likes it.
“It’s really hard for me to only come up with three reasons. I have a lot more reasons,” she teased.
Kevin and Ali went on to reveal that the first reason they decided to “sleep divorce” is because of their kids. Molly and Riley like to have sleepovers with them on the weekends, so they will split up and take one kid each.
The couple also revealed that their guest bedroom has the comfiest bed in the house, which is their second reason they like to sleep separately.
And the third reason is because Kevin wakes up every morning at 3 a.m. for work. “Whenever I hear his alarm go off at 3 in the morning, I just wanna… So for the sake of our marriage, sometimes he will sleep down here,” Ali shared. Kevin added, “And I miss you but I love it.”
We appreciate Ali and Kevin being so open about their marriage and what works best for them.
