Mercedes Northup Discusses Marciano Brunette Hook Up on ‘Vanderpump Villa’
Spilling the tea.
Fans got to know and love Mercedes Northup on Season 27 of “The Bachelor” and Season 9 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, Mercedes has been keeping fans updated with her life online and hanging with fellow Bachelor Nation stars.
Recently, she headed back to TV and appeared on the hit reality show “Vanderpump Villa” for the highly anticipated Season 3.
Mercedes joined fellow fan favorites Charity Lawson, Dotun Olubeko, Jess Girod, Maria Georgas, Ariel Frenkel, Sean McLaughlin, Xavier Bonner, and John Buresh to celebrate Dotun’s 33rd birthday at the villa.
And while there, the Bachelor Nation star formed a connection with reality TV figure Marciano Brunette. Now, Mercedes is dishing all about it and what happened on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast.
Recounting how she and Marciano linked up, Mercedes revealed it started on night two when everyone was in the hot tub.
“This is where I was at, okay? Again, no drink limit so we’re all feeling good,” she recalled. “I’m in the corner of the hot tub because I’m not really connected with anyone. And I’m looking around and everyone is boo’d up. And I’m like, ‘Well, what the heck? I need to be boo’d up.’ And the only one left was Marciano, so I’m like well I guess we’re locked in tonight.”
Jess Girod, who also chatted on the podcast, chimed in and confirmed that Marciano was the only guy available. She also revealed that he had locked eyes on Mercedes early on and was actively pursuing her.
Mercedes continued and stated that things got crazy as soon as they all started playing the game “Truth or Dare.”
She remembered, “I think someone asked me like, ‘Okay, if you had to make out with anyone in here, who would you choose?’ And obviously I’m not gonna say, like — like, everyone was taken, you know what I’m saying? So I was like, ‘Marciano.’”
The Bachelor Nation star also confessed that while fun, the connection wasn’t serious for her. “So, then we, yeah. Just had the rest of the night and we were just, like, together,” she said. “Not — it wasn’t like, I wouldn’t say we were locked in on each other, though. For me personally, it was just fun because everyone else was having fun.”
