Aaron Recalls the Moment Everything Changed for Him on ‘The Bachelorette’
Looking back.
The most recent season of “The Bachelorette” has been on pause for the past couple of months.
As fans wait to see what happens next, the men from Season 22 have been appearing on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to share more of their stories and help listeners get to know them better.
This week, Aaron joined the podcast and recalled the moment everything changed for him on the show. Reflecting on his time on “The Bachelorette,” Aaron detailed his experience on Night 1.
“Night 1, I remember walking out of my room walking over to the limo and I remember being so excited,” he said. “I remember I was in the car with, it was me, Rod, and then I met Michael Baba, and then Josh was there and Matt was there. I remember feeling so excited. I was like, ‘These guys are so dope.’ Already on cloud nine, I get to meet Taylor finally.”
Aaron went on and revealed that he didn’t plan his introduction ahead of time.
“We pull up, and I remember getting mic’d up, feeling the nerves slowly starting to build,” he shared. “And I was like, ‘Dude, this is kind of getting real.’ And I didn’t know exactly what I was gonna say. I know it’s probably good to plan it out. But I just kind of love going with the flow, shooting the s**t. I think having that kind of levity it’s kind of fun just kind of running with it.”
The “Bachelorette” cast member shared the moment things changed for him was when he was in the limo.
He said, “When it really, really hit me that the experience was so real was when we were in the limo and then we were told to be quiet. I was like, ‘Oh, this isn’t fun anymore.’ I was like this is so serious, this is actually the real stuff, so I remember when it was my turn to get out of the limo, I stood there and I see Taylor. And first impression, I was like, ‘Oh, my goodness, she’s so beautiful.’”
Continuing, Aaron shared that while the experience got real for him, he still had a fun time.
“It was high energy and then you go inside, you meet all the guys, and we were just all chatting. I love meeting people, I get a lot of my energy by being around others, so it’s just so much fun. I had a blast.”
