Arie & Lauren Luyendyk Bury a 30-Year Time Capsule with Their Kids — See What’s Inside!
Planning for the future.
Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Luyendyk got engaged on Season 22 of "The Bachelor."
Since then, they’ve tied the knot at Maui’s Haiku Mill in a stunning ceremony and welcomed four children: Alessi, twins Senna and Lux, and their newest addition, Livvy.
The couple loves to keep followers updated with their family online, often posting about home DIY projects and family outings.
This week, the former Bachelor revealed that he and Lauren buried a 30-year time capsule with their kids!
In a new video, Arie said, “So we have a time capsule, and we’re gonna bury it in the backyard.”
The Bachelor Nation couple shared they wrote a letter to their kids to include in the capsule. And each of their children added a few of their favorite toys.
The family then recorded a video message to their future selves with fun questions toward the kids asked by Lauren and Arie.
Afterward, they placed the SD card in a plastic bag and stuck it in the capsule before sealing it up. Arie then dug a “decent-sized hole” in their backyard and buried the capsule, expressing, “See you in 30 years!”
Followers commented on what an amazing idea the time capsule is, as well as advice to mark the spot where they buried it so they don’t forget in the future.
What a fun idea!
We love the Luyendyk family and enjoy keeping up with their cool adventures. We can’t wait to see what the next 30 years look like!
