Ashley Iaconetti Responds to ‘RHORI’ Claim That She ‘Ignores’ Fellow Cast Members
Clearing the air.
As Bachelor Nation fans know, Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti Haibon first met on Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2015.
The two later got engaged on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and tied the knot in August 2019. Since then, they’ve welcomed son Dawson in 2022 and their second son, Hayden, in 2024.
Last year, Bachelor Nation fans speculated that Ashley might be a future Real Housewife of Rhode Island after footage of her with a film crew leaked online. Then earlier this year, Ashley officially confirmed that she is part of the show’s cast.
Recently, drama started swirling as fellow “RHORI” cast member Kelsey Swanson claimed that Ashley has been ignoring the other Housewives and not responding to her outside of filming.
Now, Ashley is responding to the claims and bringing receipts to clear the air. On a recent podcast with Page Six, the Bachelor Nation star revealed that Kelsey has not made an effort to invite her out.
“She made it seem like she’s been inviting me, texting me, DMing me, and that my invitations have gone declined or unresponded to. She’s not invited me out once,” Ashley said.
“I will tell you honestly, Kelsey reached out to me. She said, ‘I didn’t intend on throwing shade at you at that moment’ with you guys. And I’m like, ‘Okay.’ But I was straightforward and I said, like, ‘I was taken aback by you saying that I don’t respond to your DMs.’”
Ashley shared that if Kelsey did invite her out, she would probably go and tell their fellow cast member Rosie about it since there seems to be tension between the two.
“If Kelsey invited me out, the only reason that I would have, I would probably go. Like, that’s the thing. And I would probably tell Rosie,” Ashley admitted. “I haven’t reached out to Kelsey to hang out because I think it’s different for me to accept an invitation to hang out with one of my closest friend’s enemy than it is for me to say, ‘Hey, she reached out to me, let me go.’”
The reality star then pulled out her phone and showed receipts to prove that while Kelsey didn’t blatantly lie, her insinuation about being unresponsive was untrue. Ashley defended that she’s hung out and chatted with the other Housewives a lot over the past year, and the only time she can’t is when she’s busy with work or family obligations.
We appreciate Ashley’s honesty and clearing the air. We always love hearing from the Bachelor Nation star.
