Cam Ayala Hospitalized With Another Infection Attacking His Bones After Leg Amputation

Bachelor Nation fans first met Cam Ayala on Season 15 of “The Bachelorette,” and he later appeared on Season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since his time on the shows, Cam has continued to keep fans updated on his life via social media, where he has been extremely open about his journey with lymphedema, both as a patient and an advocate.
In 2022, Cam shared on Instagram that his condition had progressed to the point where one of his legs needed to be amputated.
Since then, he has continued documenting his journey as an amputee and his recovery process on social media.
Now, Cam’s friend Christopher Wood has taken to Instagram to share an update on the Bachelor Nation star’s health.
Christopher posted a photo of Cam and wrote, “Ok peeps, this is serious. My friend Cam is in the hospital battling right now. A few years ago Cam lost his leg to a bad infection and now another infection is in his bones attacking his hip and leg. They have tried everything and he’s still really sick.”
Christopher asked people to keep Cam in their thoughts and prayers and to send healing energy.
He added, “I met Cam doing Prison Ministry a couple years ago. He has an unbelievable gift of loving on others who have forgotten how to love on themselves. Please love my friend right now and pray for him, I know he would do the same for you. Thank you.”
We are sending Cam so much love and keeping him in our thoughts, and hoping for a full recovery.
