Becca Tilley Celebrates Pride with Fiancée Hayley Kiyoko and Reflects on Her ‘Biggest Fear’ Before Coming Out
Celebrating Pride!
Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Becca Tilley on Seasons 19 and 20 of “The Bachelor.”
Since her time on the show, Becca found love off-screen with fiancée Hayley Kiyoko, and the couple has been going strong for over eight years.
The pair often shares glimpses of their life online, and last year announced they are officially engaged!
Now, Becca took to social media to celebrate her relationship on the first day of Pride Month.
Alongside a sweet video compilation of their relationship, Becca opened up about what Pride means to her, especially within her own love story.
The Bachelor Nation star shared, “Getting to hold her hand in front of the world is something I’ll never take for granted. There was a time before I came out where my biggest fear was wondering who would stay and who would go. It didn’t feel fair that I was experiencing the most wonderful love I’ve ever known and I couldn’t be proud of it and share it.”
Becca went on to say, “I remember finishing ‘The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo’ and my biggest fear became living a life where I based my decisions on how others viewed me. I remember feeling so elated, like I had been carrying a weight I didn’t even know was there, and it was finally lifted. Happy Pride 💕”
Hayley commented on Becca’s post, writing, “I love you my girl, I’m so so proud of you. You are the brightest light and I’m so glad you share it with the world and everyone in your life.”
So sweet!
Becca also took to her Instagram Stories to reflect on “those who came before us” and “the ones who chose courage over comfort and who loved openly when it wasn’t safe.”
We love seeing Becca continue to share her love so openly — it’s exactly what Pride is about: visibility, courage, and connection. Happy Pride, Bachelor Nation.
