Carly Waddell Posts a Message for One of Her Exes: ‘In Your Face!’

Bachelor Nation fans first met Carly Waddell on Season 19 of "The Bachelor" before she found love on "Bachelor in Paradise" with Evan Bass.
The two got married, welcomed kids Bella and Charlie, and later split in 2020.
In 2024, Carly went public with her relationship with Todd Allen Tressler, and the couple got engaged in the fall during a family trip to Costa Rica.
While Carly was talking about wedding plans and more children last year, just a few months later she revealed the engagement was over.
The Bachelor Nation star has been keeping followers updated with her life online, and recently posted a video message for one of her exes on Instagram.
While in her car, she said, “This message is for one of my exes and one of my exes only, who told me that I could never get a home loan by myself because I didn’t make enough money and I didn’t make as much as him.”
Carly went on, revealing some good news and clapping back at her ex.
She said, “He made me feel really small and really stupid. Well, I just got pre-approved for what I must say is a very substantial home loan. By myself. So, in your face!”
Carly then expanded in her caption about her experience with her ex as well as a former teacher who made her feel a similar way.
She wrote, “Crazy how people can make u feel like u can’t accomplish anything without them and then u just go do the thing they said u couldn’t do 🔥 Also my 12th grade English teacher said I would never be famous or a singer….and now I can’t remember his name, but in your face too xoxo.”
Followers filled Carly’s post with love and support for her accomplishment, writing things such as, “Yeaaah buddy!!!!! Congratulations lady!!! You deserve it!!! ❤️” and “Yessss girl!!!! Celebrate!!! 🙌 👏”
Another person added, “Congratulations! I’m so proud of you!!! I have these kind of conversations with women - a lot. The past does not define the future. No one and - no man gets to tell us we can’t. We can! And you did! ❤️”
We couldn’t agree more with all the love for Carly, and we’re so proud of her! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes.
