Reality TV star Ally Lewber is famously known from her time on Bravo’s  “Vanderpump Rules” and most recently, Season 4 of “Perfect Match.” 

Our former Bachelorette and podcast co-host Rachel Recchia was also on “Perfect Match” (Season 3), where she reunited with her ex and fellow Bachelor Nation star Clayton Echard. 

Viewers of the Netflix show just saw the Season 4 finale, where drama ensued between Ally and her match Jimmy Presnell when another cast member, Hashim Moore, dropped the news that he had been intimate with Ally. 

Now, the reality TV star has joined Rachel and Charity Lawson on “Bachelor Happy Hour” to reveal what really happened behind the scenes of the season finale compared to what was shown. 

Ally said, “It was just kind of like a blindsided emotion for me, but yeah, I’m just happy that it’s over. And it’s kind of sad only in the way I thought the experience was so fun and then the ending just left a bad taste in my mouth.” 

She went on and revealed the editing of the finale was different from how it played out in person. “Also the editing of the reunion blew my mind. I was like, ‘Wow’ because it just went down so differently,” she said. “When Hashim brought [us] up, Jimmy was super reactive.”

“[To Jimmy] I was like, ‘Stop. We literally only have like five minutes left. We can talk after. Like, lock in. Let’s get through this. Are you on my team or not?’ And he just wasn’t,” Ally continued. “He got up and was like, ‘That’s not my match!’ and was joking and talking to people while I’m literally like, what the f**k just happened? I was in that moment feeling really sh*tty, and yeah.”

She went on, “Hashim and Jimmy later that night were joking and talking while I was in the corner so confused. It was really sh*tty and honestly I should’ve even known in that moment too of like, ‘This is not my person.’ But your mind is just so, I was just so sensitive at the time with everything.”

She added, “I felt bad and I was trying to explain to Jimmy everything, and now looking back, I didn’t really need to do that. But I think I just felt like I was in the wrong and I felt bad and wasn’t proud of my own decisions. But again, time, perspective, I think it’s weird watching it back and just seeing how different the night appeared versus how it really was. But that’s reality TV. It’s what we sign up for. I understand that.” 

Ally also revealed that she was matched with Hashim but developed feelings for Jimmy. 

“I didn’t match with Jimmy, I was matched with Hashim. That’s the dynamic of the show and we drink and we go to a room and sure I could’ve handled that night differently. But I didn’t, and I think at that time it just was a lot of emotions and feelings because I did like him (Jimmy) at this point,” she expressed.

“And so I was just like, I felt bad. But I think watching it back, it’s just wild how different, and then to hear the audience — a lot of comments will be like, ‘Oh, my God, I feel bad for Jimmy.’ And I’m like, me too watching it. Like I get it, that edit you know it looks like I lied or whatever, but it’s like the reality is just not in the room with us.”
