Daisy Kent Recalls ‘Crazy’ Prediction of Her Engagement to Fiancé Thor 7 Years Ago — Hear the Story!
Predicting the future...
Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Daisy Kent as she searched for love on Season 28 of “The Bachelor.”
After her time on the show, Daisy rekindled her romance with her college sweetheart, Thor Herbst, and the two moved into a brand-new home they built together in Las Vegas.
Last year, Daisy shared the exciting news that she and Thor are officially engaged and has been keeping followers updated with their wedding plans ever since.
This week, the Bachelor Nation star posted a new video, recalling the “crazy” prediction of her engagement to Thor seven years ago.
She said, “This is actually crazy to me. So me and Thor had our first Valentine’s Day where we’re staying at right now. And by first Valentine’s Day, I mean back when we were literally 20 years old.”
Daisy went on to share that she and Thor went to a restaurant called “Lion Fish” for their first Valentine’s Day, and now thinks it may have predicted her future.
“I actually think Lion Fish was predicting mine and Thor’s marriage seven, eight years later. Because, when we first came here on our first Valentine’s Day, they brought out chopsticks and the chopsticks were engraved and it said, ‘Daisy Herbst,’” she remembered.
“I have these boxes where I keep things that are special to me,” Daisy went on. “My best friend Christie is getting married, who was my freshman roommate. And we, one day, wrote down everything we want in a future husband. I had them so they were in one of the boxes.”
The Bachelor Nation star shared she was looking through her boxes trying to find those notes for her friend’s wedding when she rediscovered the chopsticks.
“I open up a box and the chopsticks were in there,” she said. “And it’s just crazy because it’s the year that I’m getting married too and I had no idea they were in there.”
So sweet! What a fun discovery and story. We are so excited for Daisy, and we can’t wait for her and Thor’s big day — we know it’s going to be beautiful!
