Bachelor Nation got to know and love Joan Vassos on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelor” and again as our very first Golden Bachelorette.
Fans also got to know and love Amy Kaplan as she looked for love on Season 2 of “The Golden Bachelor.”
Since their time on the shows, the two Golden Bachelor Nation stars have been keeping followers updated with their lives online.
And this past week, both Joan and Amy welcomed brand new grandbabies into the world!
Joan, lovingly referred to as “Jojo” by her grandkids, posted two photos of her holding her two new granddaughters and expressed, “My heart grew twice this weekend. 💕💕”
She went on, “On Friday, Erica and Brent welcomed sweet baby Parker, making Hartley a very proud big sister and officially turning them into second-time girl parents. Then on Sunday, Brooke and Nick celebrated their very first Father’s Day with the early arrival of beautiful Charlotte. What a perfect gift for a brand-new dad.”
Joan reflected, “Two baby girls, two growing families, and more love than I can put into words. Welcome to the world, Parker and Charlotte. Your Jojo already loves you beyond measure. 💗👶✨”
Fellow Golden Bachelor Nation star Amy became a grandmother for the very first time with the arrival of her daughter Lexi Kaplan Giudice’s baby boy, Jordan Arthur.
Amy spoke exclusively with Us Weekly, expressing how it’s felt to be a first-time grandmother.
She shared, “I love him. He’s precious. He’s gorgeous… I love holding him. He opens his little eyes, and he was looking straight at me and listening to me speak. He’s very alert.” Amy recalled that the first moment Jordan was born, she “was crying.”
Amy also noted that her grandson’s name holds special meaning as “Arthur” was chosen in honor of her late father, and “Jordan” so he’ll have the same initials as Lexi’s husband.
