Arie Luyendyk Reflects on Life with Lauren Since ‘The Bachelor’: ‘So Wild’
Looking back.
Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Luyendyk fell in love and got engaged on Season 22 of “The Bachelor.”
Since then, they’ve tied the knot at Maui’s Haiku Mill in a stunning ceremony and welcomed four children: Alessi, twins Senna and Lux, and their newest addition, Livvy.
The couple loves to keep followers updated with their family online, often posting about home DIY projects and family outings.
And this week, Arie took to his Instagram Story to answer a variety of fan questions.
In one question, someone asked the former Bachelor, “Can you believe this is your life since ‘The Bachelor’?!”
Arie responded by reflecting on his time since being on the show and expressed that it’s “so wild.”
He said, “It’s honestly so wild. I literally have everything that I’ve ever wanted.”
Arie then went on and revealed that when he proposed to Lauren, he’d already envisioned what their future would look like.
He shared, “It’s funny because when I asked Lauren to marry me I pictured this life with so much certainty and it’s really fun to see everything come to fruition. Life is good. Love you [Lauren]”
So sweet!
The former Bachelor also gave his tips for a parent of twins and recalled how Lux and Senna were as babies.
“I think with twins it’s important to have the same routine in the beginning,” he suggested. “I do think once they get a little older, you’ll notice how they may need different parenting approaches. Lux and Senna are pretty opposite personality-wise. Lux was such a chill baby but now is a total wild child. Senna would cry so much when she was a baby but then became our quietest, sweetest toddler.”
We love hearing from the Luyendyk family and it’s been so fun to watch Arie and Lauren’s love story unfold over the years. We are so happy for them!
