Charity Lawson Opens Up About Being in a ‘Pivotal Season’ of Life & Teases Wedding Details

Bachelor Nation fans saw Charity Lawson fall in love and get engaged to Dotun Olubeko on Season 20 of “The Bachelorette.”
Since their time on the show, the two have been enjoying time with family and friends and are living together in New York City.
The couple loves keeping fans updated on their lives online and is currently planning their wedding.
Charity likes to keep things real with her followers, recently opening up about being in a “pivotal season” of life.
While answering fan questions on her Instagram Story, the former Bachelorette admitted that she’s currently refocusing her life choices.
She wrote, “Life is going good for the most part, tbh I’m in this very pivotal season of my life of healing, resetting my nervous system, and attaching myself to things that truly bring me joy – not just doing things cause I have to.”
Charity went on, expressing, “That comes with remembering at the end of the day…that I get the final say in my life choices — aka learning to say ‘no’ or just simply not doing something and not forcing it.”
The Bachelor Nation star also revealed that her main priority right now is focusing on her and Dotun’s next chapter.
“I’m enjoying this season, it’s been a lot of planning, decision making,” she said, “but ultimately growing and building with Dot has been my priority for our next chapter ahead of us. 🤍”
The bride-to-be then gave a tease into how she’s planning on possibly wearing her hair for their wedding day.
In response to a fan asking what her hair will look like, Charity posted four different hairstyles — one updo, one half up-half down, and two looks with hair down. She said, “currently something of these sorts. Could change, what’s your fav[orite]?”
