Jasmine Goode Opens Up About Unseen Drama in Bachelor Nation and ‘The Valley’
Spilling the tea.
Bachelor Nation fans first met Jasmine Goode on Season 21 of “The Bachelor,” and she later returned to our screens for Season 4 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, Jasmine found love off-screen with her wife Melissa Marie and the two officially tied the knot last month in a romantic ceremony surrounded by friends and family.
The couple has spent the past four years together traveling the world, sharing adorable moments on social media, and appearing on the reality TV show “The Valley.”
Now, Jasmine has joined the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast and is spilling the tea on unseen drama in both Bachelor Nation and “The Valley.”
Reflecting on her time on “Bachelor” and the friendships she made, Jasmine said, “On ‘The Valley,’ we have to have deeper conversations about drama, things that you technically maybe don’t want to talk about. You gotta go there. On ‘The Bachelor,’ we’re all just talking about the one same thing and it’s like no one’s fighting. I mean, you are fighting sometimes, but you’re not fighting about like… some drama we have on ‘The Valley’ we’d never have on ‘The Bachelor.’ So the drama’s definitely different.”
Jasmine continued and opened up about why “The Valley” drama is frustrating for her.
“It’s real, it’s definitely real, and it’s so frustrating because for me, I’m the type of person where I’m like if there’s competition, I wanna walk away. I just wanna leave it,” she said. “And so when you’re doing these types of shows, you have to really talk about it, even if you’re uncomfortable. And it freaking sucks.”
She then spilled about some crazy moments that were unseen while on the Bachelor Nation shows.
“Me and Raven, we snuck out in New Orleans with [one of the producers], we snuck out to get beignets,” she revealed. “Our season was just nuts. I don’t know if you guys were allowed to have a free range to drink. I think they changed it after my season. We had a full bar. We’d drink at like 10 in the morning. I remember drinking, like making mimosas or mojitos at like 10 in the morning and Vanessa and Taylor were fighting making breakfast. And I was just like, ‘What is happening?’... Vanessa was so locked in that she was like, ‘I love him [Nick]!’ and I’m like, ‘Girl, no.’
“My ‘Paradise,’ I think, broke the Internet,” Jasmine went on. “We had to come back, start again, it was like half and half… It was so insane. It was nuts to think how we were all so excited, we got there, it was great. And then literally within 24 hours it was like, okay, shut down... We filmed for like two or three days and then it [shut down].”
Jasmine also teased the Season 3 reunion of “The Valley,” which filmed right after her wedding. She said, “I was still so happy, so even when I was making moments and points, I don’t know I think I could’ve been a little harder. But I was just, like, I don’t care because I was such on a high still. But the reunion, it was good. You guys are going to be very entertained.”
