Joe Amabile & Serena Pitt Thank Fans for Their Support Amid Brain Tumor Diagnosis: ‘Going to Face it Together’

Bachelor Nation saw fan-favorite couple Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt fall in love and get engaged on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
The two tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by friends and family in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2023.
Since then, the couple has been keeping fans updated with their lives on social media.
Earlier this week, Joe shared the heartbreaking news online that doctors discovered he has an “early stage brain tumor” and he’s going to need brain surgery.
After posting the news, loved ones and followers filled the comments with their love for Joe and Serena. Now, the couple has responded, thanking everyone for their support during this time.
Joe took to his Instagram Story and said, “A lot of people have been reaching out to me. A lot of uplifting messages and stories. And honestly, it’s been really great. A little overwhelmed right now, but overall, thank you everyone.”
He went on, sharing, “It’s really crazy just how many people have dealt with this and different brain surgeries and different types of cancer. And I love hearing stories and I just want to thank everyone.”
Serena also took to her Instagram page to share her gratitude for all the support.
Next to a black-and-white photo of Joe and herself, she wrote, “Thank you all so much for the love and support you have sent our way! Finding out that Joe has a brain tumor has come with so many emotions. It has felt very scary, overwhelming and heavy at times. We feel so blessed to have an amazing community who is supporting us and helping us hold onto a positive mindset throughout all of this!”
Serena continued, “I truly believe Joe is going to get through this, and no matter what happens we’re going to face it together 🤍.”
We’re continuing to send all of our love to Joe and Serena during this time. We’re keeping them both in our thoughts as they navigate this next chapter together.
