Bailey Brown Reveals ‘Golden Bachelorette’s’ Kim Buike’s Sweet Offer to Walk Her Down the Aisle
A special bond.
Bachelor Nation got to know Bailey Taylor Brown on Season 29 of “The Bachelor” and again on Season 10 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” where she found love with Jeremy Simon.
Since then, the two have been supporting each other and keeping followers updated with their lives online.
Bailey has previously shared online about how she lost her dad, Anthony Brown, to pancreatic cancer in 2022. And since then, she’s been raising funds and awareness for cancer research in honor of her father.
On this week’s episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour,” Bailey joined the podcast to share more about her time on “Bachelor in Paradise.”
And she told some behind-the-scenes stories, including a very sweet offer from “The Golden Bachelorette’s” Kim Buike.
She said, “Kim really did touch my heart because we really did share a lot of conversations… And before he actually left, number one, he organized a whole journal to write down everyone’s information because he was scared he wasn’t going to be able to connect with anyone after.”
Bailey continued and revealed that Kim has offered to walk her down the aisle if she ever needs someone when she gets married.
“I don’t have grandparents. I haven’t had grandparents in such a long time,” Bailey stated. “Kim and I really shared a deep moment where he was like, ‘Listen, I know that you don’t have a dad.’ He was like, ‘Your dad isn’t going to be there to walk you down the aisle. If you ever need someone to walk you down the aisle, I would gladly come and do it.’”
Bailey went on, explaining, “He would in a heartbeat. Like, after ‘Paradise,’ he sent me the most beautiful email just catching up with me and he really is just like all the Goldens are such amazing, great people… But I feel like him and I really did connect. Like, I’m pretty sure he lost his wife and so he could attest [to] that grief aspect of life of losing that person that you think would be going to weddings with you.”
Bailey then added, “He was like, ‘I know you and your mom are very close, but if you ever want someone to walk you down the aisle, I will 100% do it.’ And I was just like this [is an] amazing person. And I really did feel like I got to share moments, deep moments like that with all the Goldens. So yeah, this is such a cute behind-the-scenes moment because he’s my king, Captain Kim. Like, he’s amazing.”
