Arie Luyendyk Surprises Wife Lauren with Family Picnic at Their Wedding Venue: ‘Where It All Began’
Full-circle moment!
Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Luyendyk fell in love and got engaged on Season 22 of “The Bachelor.”
The two later tied the knot in 2019 at Haiku Mill on Maui, Hawaii, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Since then, Arie and Lauren have welcomed four children: Alessi, twins Senna and Lux, and their newest addition, Livvy.
The couple loves to keep followers updated with their lives online and often travel back to Maui for family vacations.
And recently, Arie decided to surprise Lauren with a family picnic at their wedding venue.
The former Bachelor posted a video of them walking into the location and said, “We surprised her…at the place we got married ♥️.”
Arie explained, “The kids and I pulled off this full circle moment. We actually got married in this exact spot.”
The video shows Arie, Lauren, and their kids sitting on a blanket surrounded by flowers, pillows, and various foods.
The couple then shared a kiss in the exact same spot they kissed at their wedding and Arie reflected, “It’s just so wild to think that we’re back here with our four kids. Life is crazy and beautiful all at the same time. Just trying to keep it romantic around here.”
He also posted snapshots on his Instagram Story, sharing, “This place is just magical.”
He added a video of the entrance into the venue and said, “Now imagine 100 of your closest friends and family inside this space, it went by too quick!”
Followers and loved ones chimed in with their love for the couple, and Lauren commented, “🥹You’re the best.”
One person added, “Stop that little throwback clip!!!!!!!,” and another wrote, “Stop why am I tearing up. 😂😂😂”
