Michael Allio Proposes to Jade Marie Chapman After 3 Years Together and Bachelor Nation Reacts!
She said yes!
Bachelor Nation got to know Michael Allio on Season 17 of "The Bachelorette" and again on Season 8 of "Bachelor in Paradise."
During his time on the Bachelor Nation shows, Michael was open about his experience as a father and single dad following the passing of his wife, Laura, a number of years ago.
Three years ago, Michael found love with girlfriend Jade Marie Chapman, and the two have been going strong ever since.
Now, Michael has taken to social media to reveal that they are officially engaged!
Alongside photos capturing their proposal, Michael wrote, “We made it!!!!!💍 For more than a year, there were 2,367 miles between us. [...] What neither of us realized then was that the piece we had both been searching for had been living on opposite sides of the country all along. Somehow, despite the distance, everything between us unfolded so naturally. What began as an unexpected friendship became forever. Every visit felt like coming home. Every goodbye carried the certainty that we’d find our way back again. As we always have.”
The Bachelor Nation star continued, “And somewhere between all those miles, we built a life. We collected moments, crossed milestones, became a family, and watched two separate places on a map slowly become one home. Every road led to you. And from here on out, we take the same one.”
Michael’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars quickly filled the comments of his post with love and congratulations.
