Joe Amabile Is Home from the Hospital After Successful Brain Surgery: ‘So Grateful’

Bachelor Nation saw fan-favorite couple Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt fall in love and get engaged on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
The couple tied the knot in 2023 and has been keeping fans updated with their lives on social media since.
Earlier last month, Joe shared the heartbreaking news online that doctors discovered he has an “early-stage brain tumor” and needed brain surgery.
Last week, the Bachelor Nation star revealed that the doctors were able to successfully remove the entire tumor during his surgery.
Now, Serena has updated online that Joe is officially discharged from the hospital and recovering at home.
In a new post on social media, Serena posted photos from their time at the NYU hospital and shared about their experience.
She wrote, “A few peaceful moments from the hospital 🤍Incredibly grateful to the team at NYU Langone Health for their endless patience, care, compassion, and kindness these past few days.”
Serena also added, “Joe is home recovering, and we’re so grateful to have been in such good hands.”
The Bachelor Nation star then took to her Instagram Story this week to share a glimpse into their lives during Joe’s recovery.
Over a photo of Joe sitting on a bench outside wearing a hat, sunglasses, and holding a cup of coffee, she said, “Short coffee walk this morning ☕🤎.”
Serena expressed that their coffee walk was “a beautiful little moment of normalcy.”
Loved ones and fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled Serena’s post with their love for the couple and well wishes for Joe’s recovery.
