Faith Martin Opens Up About Getting a Breast Reduction, Dating Difficulties, and More
Opening up.
Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Faith Martin on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelor” and Season 10 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, Faith has continued to keep fans updated on her life through social media and hard-launched a new romance in her life last year.
This week, she joined the “Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour” podcast and opened up about getting a breast reduction, dating difficulties, and more.
While chatting with co-hosts Kathy Swarts and Susan Noles, Faith revealed that she is no longer in a relationship and stated some of the challenges she’s been facing while dating.
She said, “I have so many interests and hobbies and things that I like to do. Generally in my past, men are annoyed; they don’t think I give them enough time because I have other outside interests that I love to do. I love to dance, I sing, I perform on the weekends, I love to ride horses, I just do a lot of things. So guys that don’t enjoy the same things are like, ‘When am I gonna see you?’”
Faith explained that her most recent relationship felt different because he portrayed himself as having the same interests as her and when they met, they “totally hit it off.”
“I found him interesting and he had a great sense of humor, and it seemed like he had some emotional depth. And he was just a great, fun guy,” she shared.
Faith explained that she’s not a big drinker and doesn’t find it attractive after being with an alcoholic for 22 years.
“[This guy] was not supposedly a big drinker. But about the second or third time I had to drive home, and after he’s passed out a couple of times and he was doing weed every day and drinking every day, I was just like, ‘I thought we had talked about [this].’”
The Bachelor Nation star also shared that he wasn’t actually into the same interests he originally said he was, so she felt a little “bamboozled.”
Faith also recently got a breast reduction and opened up about how she feels “so much better” afterward. “I felt like I couldn’t breathe,” she admitted. “It was a big chunk of money, which it’s not like I’ve got a ton of money to throw around. But it was really worth it to me… I just want to feel lighter.”
“I just got to that point and I had some friends that had gotten breast reductions and I was like, ‘Do you feel like you breathe better?’” Faith went on to explain. “I feel like a lot of times, my breasts made it into a room before I did. And I felt like that was something, especially when it came to men, it’s like good God, could you see past my breasts for a minute and know that I’m a person in here? That always bothered me.”
Faith stated that she loves her results and decided to get the surgery for herself. She also explained why she no longer wears mascara or gets Botox. “I don’t really care what anybody thinks. I just wanted to do what I felt was good,” she shared. “I’m turning 64 in a few days and I’m like, ‘Yeah, I think it’s okay for me to look 64.’ I don’t care. I’m not really dating anymore.”
