Bachelor Nation saw Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley fall in love and get engaged on Season 10 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”

Since then, the two have been keeping fans updated with their adventures online and enjoying their lives as a couple.

Recently, fans have noticed that Spencer hasn’t been in Jess’ content as much on social media. 

And now, the Bachelor Nation star has joined the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to reveal the real reason why. 

“I’m sure you guys have noticed, we haven’t been on social media as a couple as much together,” Jess shared. “Because I feel like we were doing it so much, it was like, it felt a little performative. We’re like, ‘All right, this is not realistic.’ We’re forcing ourselves to do these things when we just want to be normal.”

Jess explained that after “Paradise,” they felt like they needed to post a lot together, but it started to become unnatural with their lives. 

“We just need to do what feels natural and he’s been wanting to take a little break from social media and I’m not like, ‘No, you need to be in this,’” she stated. “So if he wants to, he wants to. And yeah, I think just trying to be as normal as possible because we were just handed this platform and we’re like, eh ,what do we do?” 

Jess also addressed the rumors circulating online that the two are breaking up due to Spencer not appearing in her content recently. 

She kept it real and admitted, “I have a really bad problem of seeing stuff and getting immediately infuriated. Like, it really does, and this is probably exactly what they want to hear too, but I will see it and I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m so mad. We need to post together.’ And then I’m like, ‘You know what? It literally does not matter what they think.’ I know 9 times out of 10 it’s because they care and they’re invested in us.”

Jess continued, “Then it’s just the people that wanna start drama. I will have people literally comment on videos where you can clearly see my ring in every clip and they’re like, ‘She’s not been wearing her ring recently.’ And I’m like, ‘Girl, yes I have!’”

Jess got candid about not wanting to force couples content even though it performs well, because she doesn’t want it to not reflect their real life. 

“We also have life stuff going on. There’s things that pop up and I don’t know. I’m just not, I don’t ever want to be fraudulent or fake on there,” she shared. “So I don’t want to have all these things going on and then be like, ‘Okay, we’ve gotta make a couples video really quick. Like, come on, let’s fit it in.’ It just feels like too much and then it gets to be an annoyance and it’s not fun anymore.”
