Joe Amabile Runs 3.5 Miles 15 Days After Brain Surgery: ‘Wish Me Luck’

The couple tied the knot in 2023 and has been keeping fans updated with their lives on social media since.
Earlier last month, Joe shared the heartbreaking news online that doctors discovered he has an “early-stage brain tumor” and needed brain surgery.
This month, the Bachelor Nation star revealed that the doctors were able to successfully remove the entire tumor during his surgery and he has been diagnosed with a very low-grade astrocytoma.
Joe and Serena have been keeping followers updated on his recovery journey on social media. This past week, Joe officially had 23 surgery staples removed from his head.
The Bachelor Nation star has previously shared that he wants to run the NYC marathon this year as a goal for himself.
Now, Joe has taken to social media to reveal that he just ran three and a half miles only 15 days after his brain surgery!
In a new video that shows him warming up for his run, he wrote, “15 days after my brain surgery and I’m going for my first run. Wish me luck.”
Joe then added some reassurance for his followers and shared, “And don’t worry, I was medically cleared.”
Next to the video, he opened up about the run, writing, “If you’re looking for a little inspiration this morning I just ran 3 and half miles only 15 days after my brain surgery.”
Followers and loved ones filled the comments with their love and support, noting how impressed they were with Joe.
