Charity Lawson Surprises Dotun Olubeko with Birthday Dinner Surrounded by Bachelor Nation
Happy birthday!
Bachelor Nation fans saw Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko fall in love and get engaged on Season 20 of “The Bachelorette.”
Since their time on the show, the two have been enjoying time with family and friends and are living together in New York City.
Over the weekend, Dotun celebrated his 34th birthday and Charity surprised him with a dinner including a bunch of their Bachelor Nation besties.
Dotun, Charity, and their closest friends gathered at an outdoor restaurant and they all took to social media to document the big surprise.
The couple was joined by Justin Glaze, Jess Girod, Sean McLaughlin, Aaron Bryant, Tanner Courtad, Xavier Bonner, James Pierce, and John Buresh, as well as some of their other close friends.
The dinner looked like it was filled with delicious food, toasts, and a custom cake with a picture of Dotun when he was younger on the top.
Charity posted snapshots of the celebration online and expressed, “Happy birthday to my big guy ✨👏🏾💕 you are so loved and the most special person to be around, with so much going on in this season of life and so much joy still left to experience this year, my wish for you is always peace and happiness- i love you @dotunolubeko.”
Dotun replied with his love and gratitude for Charity planning his surprise birthday dinner.
He said, “Thank you for taking the time out of your days to plan this for me. I’m certain it wasn’t a small undertaking and I’m reminded who I fell for and why, those three crazy years ago. I’ve come to recognize that your love is a force to be reckoned with. I want it all. Thank you and as always, to many more ❤️ @charitylawson.”
