Demi Burnett Reveals How She Found the Love of Her Life: ‘Finally Coming Clean’

Bachelor Nation fans got to know Demi Burnett on Season 23 of “The Bachelor,” and again on Seasons 6 and 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, Demi has been keeping fans updated with her life on social media.
And this past week, the Bachelor Nation star posted a new video about how she “found the love of [her] life.”
Demi captioned the post, “HOW I FOUND THE LOVE OF MY LIFE 🥹💞finally coming clean about this one 😭 go ahead and roast me for getting scammed, i deserve it 😞”
Demi then went on and explained that the love of her life is actually her Chow Chow puppy named Sandor.
In her video titled, “How I got my baby,” the Bachelor Nation star shared how she got Sandor and revealed that she accidentally got scammed.
“Here’s a story about how I got scammed online trying to get a Chow Chow puppy,” she said. “First I want to say, adopt. Don’t shop. In early January of 2021, I googled, ‘Chow Chow puppies in Los Angeles.’ Because I am a fool, I clicked on the first link and instantly believed all these photos and all of these texts.
“I mean I was so stinking naive, I sent the money, I believed every video, I actually bought it,” Demi continued. “So the day the dog was supposed to come, the dog never came.”
She shared that after that experience she was still motivated to get a puppy, so she looked elsewhere.
“I was so devastated that I was motivated to scour the internet to find a Chow Chow puppy anywhere in this country. And I found one in Texas near my parents,” Demi explained. “I flew out there and I picked him up and that is how Sandor came to be. My baby boy, my pride and joy, the love of my life.”
Demi added that although it worked out, she will not be doing the same thing next time. “I’m so happy I have him and it was meant to be, but next time I’m getting a Chow, I’m definitely adopting,” she stated.
What an adventure, but we’re so glad it worked out in the end. We can’t get over how cute Sandor is and love seeing Demi so happy!
