Rekindling their relationship. 

Bachelor Nation first got to know Susie Evans and Justin Glaze on “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” and they returned to our screens again for Season 10 of Paradise.

The two famously dated for over a year but ultimately decided to split ways in 2024. Their reunion on Season 10 of “Bachelor in Paradise” gave fans a shocking moment when Justin offered his rose to Susie instead of Lexi Young, with whom he had been forming a connection.

All three left Costa Rica in tears, and since their time on the show, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Susie and Justin had been at the same Los Angeles hangouts, reigniting possible romance rumors.

Justin later clarified that he was single. But now, Susie has revealed on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast that she and Justin secretly dated again after leaving “BIP.”

Reflecting on the dramatic Rose Ceremony where Susie turned down Justin’s rose, she said, “If I had understood more — or I would've pulled him for a conversation in that moment and been like, ‘Hey can we exit the Rose Ceremony and have a conversation?’ I know it’s crazy but I really thought [he and Lexi] had decided this together and they were going to move forward together. And then he wouldn’t talk to me after, which understandably, I think he was really embarrassed. And I think he felt blindsided.” 

Susie revealed she had a good conversation with Lexi afterwards in the airport and later chatted with Justin. 

“That night, I ran after him. I think they showed it, I was like, ‘Please let me go talk to him’ and they were like, ‘He doesn’t want to talk to anybody. He just needs some space,’” she recalled. “I contacted him immediately and then when we got back to L.A., we met up. We had a conversation and we both were crying… It was probably a month or two of grey area where we’re like, ‘We still love each other.’ It’s kind of like what happened with Clayton [Echard], when you come off a show and you’re like — you kind of only have that other person [who understands what happened].”

Susie continued and revealed that she and Justin privately dated for about three months after “Paradise.” 

“I think we dated for three months privately trying to figure out if we could make it work. I think there was just too much, I mean we broke up for a reason originally. So, all of that kind of came back up and then also there was so much pain. I mean relationships are hard in general, add in public perception and a TV show and, I mean there’s so much… It was shortly after ‘Paradise’ that we reconnected. But it was definitely grey area at first and then it was like, ‘Okay, let’s try this one more time.’” 

Giving details into how their reconnection happened, Susie remembered wanting to give it one more shot. 

“I remember there was a day where I actually left his house and we called it. And I got back to my house and I was so sick to my stomach,” she shared. “I called him back and was like, ‘I know we just ended things but I’m putting myself out there and saying I want to try one more time. This is really hard but I can’t imagine you not in my life.’ And I think he felt the same, like we loved each other. We really did. I still sometimes, I miss our friendship. We should’ve never dated. Not actually, that’s a mean thing to say. But we had such a fun friendship.”
