Zac Clark Gets Caught in Major Flooding During Half Marathon — See the Video!
A wild experience.
Bachelor Nation met Zac Clark on Season 16 of “The Bachelorette,” and as fans remember, Zac shared his struggle with addiction and journey to sobriety with Tayshia Adams on-screen.
Since his time on the show, Zac has continued to share resources for addiction, mental health, and more through his company Release Recovery Addiction Treatment Center.
He just celebrated 15 years of sobriety and has become an avid runner, opening up about how running has helped him especially in his recovery journey.
Zac has run in many half marathons and full marathons over the years, and recently raced in the Paramus Racefaster Half Marathon in New Jersey.
During the run, the Bachelor Nation star got caught in a torrential flood along the course.
Zac took to social media and posted a video of the major flooding, showing himself holding onto a railing as he waded through the water.
As hip-level water rushes by, he shouts, “Bro! This is nuts!” Zac also revealed results from the half marathon and teased, “Checking in from the Paramus Racefaster Half Marathon this morning. 1:40:42 on the chip….many rivers were crossed. Third in age group.”
The Bachelor Nation star took photos with a few of his fellow runners in the water and added, “Made some friends.”
Followers filled the comments with their reactions, including fellow Bachelor Nation star Kaitlyn Bristowe who wrote, “I should have come with a tube.”
Others added comments like, “Excuse me, who thought this was safe to race under these conditions,” and, “This is wild. How didn’t they cancel this event.”
Another runner added, “Just ran this too!! this was absolute insanity 🤯.”
We are so glad all the runners are safe. What a wild experience and we’re so glad Zac shared this video.
