Susie Evans Opens Up About Recent Health Issue and Her Medical Anxiety: ‘I’m Now Scared’

Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Susie Evans on Season 26 of “The Bachelor” and again on Season 10 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since her time on the shows, Susie has been living in L.A. and keeping fans updated on her life online.
Susie loves to keep it real with her followers, often posting about her life as an influencer, fostering dogs, fashion, food, beauty, and even documenting her personal egg-freezing journey.
And recently, she took to her Instagram Story to open up about a recent health issue and her medical anxiety.
In a new post, Susie shared, “This is my medical anxiety coming out and I’m being vulnerable, so please bear with me. About a month ago I had what seemed like eczema on my eye lid.”
The Bachelor Nation star shared that the redness ebbs and flows, but she thinks there might be a couple causes for the eczema.
“Some days it’s really red. Some days it’s chill. I went to a doctor and they said that [they] think it’s an allergy,” Susie said. “Two things happened around the date I first noticed it. 1- I changed laundry detergent… [and] 2- the dog I was fostering picked up fleas at some point and I got bit by the fleas.”
Continuing, Susie shared that she deep-cleaned her apartment after the foster dog left her care, but now she’s nervous about her health.
“I’m now scared that I like infected myself with either the plague from the fleas and my immune system is freaking out which is why I’m getting the eczema flare orrrrr I have an underlying health condition I’ve yet to discover,” she stated.
Susie also added, “OR me washing several loads with the intense chemical laundry detergent hasn’t left my clothes and certain things that I haven’t rewashed… I’ll keep y’all updated. My health anxiety has been through the roof the last few weeks.”
