Daisy Kent Celebrates the Release of Her New Children’s Book: ‘Even More Special’
So exciting!
Bachelor Nation got to know and love Daisy Kent as she looked for love on Season 28 of “The Bachelor.”
While on the show, Daisy opened up about her hearing loss journey and navigating life with a cochlear implant.
Since then, Daisy has loved sharing about her experience to help spread awareness and even wrote a children’s book called “Daisy Doo: All the Sounds She Knew.”
Now, the Bachelor Nation star has announced in a new post online that she just released her second children’s book!
Daisy posted adorable photos of her new book, “Daisy Doo: All the Sounds at the Zoo,” and expressed what the project meant to her.
She said, “As we come to the end of #DeafAwarenessMonth, we felt like this was the perfect time to share this project with you. Daisy Doo #2 was even more special to create because I got to do it alongside my mom—the person who was there when I learned my first words, played my first piano recital, and gave my first speech.”
Daisy continued, sharing more about how her mom has helped her and the empowerment she’s felt through embracing her hearing loss.
“She was also there when I could no longer hear at the dinner table, when I lost the notes of the piano, and when I felt like I had lost my voice,” Daisy reflected. “Losing your hearing can feel incredibly isolating, but learning to hear again, embrace your differences, and find your voice can be even more empowering. 💜”
The Bachelor Nation star ended her post with a note of love and gratitude for her followers.
She shared, “So much love was poured into this book, and I can’t wait for you to read it. Thank you for being here and for continuing to be a part of this journey with me. 💜”
Fans and loved ones filled the comments with their congratulations for Daisy, also noting how much kids love her first book. Haley Ferguson Palve wrote, “Sooo exciting!!! Lovi loves Daisy Doo!😍🩷” and Kaity Biggar added, “This is amazing !!”
We are so proud of Daisy and couldn’t be more excited for her second book. We’re sending huge congratulations!
