‘The Bachelorette’s’ Doug Mason Breaks His Silence After Broken Engagement with Taylor Frankie Paul
Speaking out.
As Bachelor Nation fans know, Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette” has been on pause.
Bachelor Nation was first introduced to the men appearing on her season earlier this year, including Doug Mason.
Doug has been keeping followers updated with his life online and previously joined the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to share more of his story as well as open up about how it felt getting compared to Taylor’s ex.
In the most recent season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” (Season 5), it was revealed that Doug ended up getting engaged to Taylor, but the two have since split.
Now, Doug has taken to his Instagram Story to break his silence on “The Bachelorette” for the first time.
In the posted video, he stated, “What’s up, everybody? We’ve gotta talk about something. Let’s talk about ‘The Bachelorette.’”
Doug goes on to share that he has officially moved on from the experience.
“That experience has been looming in my life for some time, and although I’ve been moved on for a long time, I think it’s important that I express to you guys that I have,” he admitted.
The Bachelor Nation alum additionally expressed gratitude for going on the show but is ultimately focusing on his future now.
He said, “I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity just to go on the show, and I met some brothers, and I learned a lot about myself. I have officially moved on and this is me saying that I am going that way. So I hope that everybody can understand that it was in my past and now I’m focusing on my future. Take care, thanks so much for listening.”
We appreciate hearing from Doug and we’re wishing him all the best.
