Katie Morton Reunites with the Women Who Predicted Her Pregnancy
A sweet reunion!
Bachelor Nation got to know and love Katie Morton on Season 23 of “The Bachelor” and Season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise.” After her time on the shows, Katie moved to London in 2022 and found love with her husband Nick Garside.
Last year, the couple shared the exciting news online that they are officially engaged. Then earlier this year, Katie revealed that they’re already married, as she and Nick tied the knot in an intimate city hall ceremony.
As the two plan for their wedding celebration next May, the couple announced over the summer that they’re also expecting their first baby together!
Katie has been keeping followers updated with her pregnancy on social media. And this past week, she shared a heartwarming reunion with women who predicted her pregnancy.
In new posts on Instagram, Katie explained that she is currently on a wellness and wildlife safari retreat in South Africa, which she also went on “this time last year.”
“Things will look a bit different this year,” she said. Katie went on, revealing that the women she met last year claimed she was going to return with a baby.
She said, “Fun fact… last year the women working at the lodge all said I needed to come back with a baby. They kept messing with me saying ‘a baby will come soon, you’ll see.’ I didn’t even have a ring on my finger.. idk what kind of juju they were dealing with but I can’t wait to see the look on their faces.”
The Bachelor Nation star then posted a video of her returning to the lodge and surprising them with her baby bump.
She wrote over the video, “When your African aunties said the next time you came back you’d be with child (& you didn’t believe them)... a lot can happen in a year.”
In the video, Katie is seen telling them, “I have a surprise for you two” and then standing up to reveal that she’s pregnant. Everyone immediately starts cheering and hugging Katie. And one of the women excitedly expressed, “Congratulations! I told you, I told you!”
So sweet! We love seeing this heartwarming reunion and we couldn’t be happier for Katie and her growing family. We can’t wait to meet her baby soon!
