Arie Luyendyk Reveals ‘New Member of the Family’ — It’s Not What You Think!

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Luyendyk got engaged on Season 22 of “The Bachelor.”
The two later tied the knot in 2019 at Haiku Mill on Maui, Hawaii, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
Since then, Arie and Lauren have welcomed four children: Alessi, twins Senna and Lux, and their newest addition, Livvy.
The couple loves to keep followers updated with their lives online, and a couple months ago, Arie shared that he underwent a second vasectomy.
Now, the former Bachelor has taken to Instagram to reveal a “new member of the family.”
On his Instagram Story, Arie documented that they rescued a turtle from the road and then went to look at tortoises that would fit best for their location.
Over the video, the Bachelor Nation star asked, “New member of the family?” and tagged Lauren.
Arie then went on to show his family browsing different tortoises and holding one before deciding to add it to their family.
He then posted a photo of their new family member and said, “The newest addition, he’s a Russian tortoise.”
Arie also shared a sweet selfie of him with the kids and their new tortoise, revealing they named it “Hardy.”
